RahelGee, the Magnetic Separation Rack for two PCR Strips

This magnetic separation rack is designed for 2x8-well strips or single tubes. It consists of two identical parts that hold together with their magnets and can be used separately. It features an additional holder for pipetting steps away from the magnet, e.g. for resuspension of beads, ensuring precise bead cleanups, DNA extraction, and more.

An anti-wobble mechanism keeps the tubes firmly aligned with the magnets. For bead cleanups, DNA extraction, the 0.2 ml tube magnetic rack is compatible with all kinds of beads, e.g. AMPure XP. The magnets are strategically positioned at an angle to the tubes for enhanced speed and efficiency.

Options for Customization of the Magnetic PCR Tube Rack:

The vertical position of magnets in millimeters up from the bottom of the racks.

• Standard: Beads will be pulled around 3 mm up from the bottom of the tubes (in case of the transparent PCR strips shown in the picture), compatible with low elution volumes.
• Choose a lower magnet position in the magnetic PCR tube rack for the blue type of tubes shown in the picture, if low volume elution is required.
• If unsure about the type of tubes, measure the distance from the bottom to the first ridge and mention this distance (examples "X mm" and "Y mm" shown in the last picture).
• Private labelling / OEM possible on request.

• Dimensions of the footprint (both parts): 86 mm x 47 mm.
• 2x4 very strong Neodymium magnets with Nickel coating (4 x 1.7 kg).
• 3D printed with SLA technology with very high accuracy and surface quality.
• The magnetic separation rack for PCR tubes comes in white, durable material.
• If surface sterilization is needed, please use bleach or UV sterilization.
