This laboratory powder dispenser for 96-well or 384-well plates can be customized to fit small beads or powder of all kind and volume. The powder dispenser enables accurate and efficient powder dispensing into 96-well plates or 384-well plates. With an additional adapter (see here), the 96-well version is compatible with these 96 well collection tube plates.

This lab powder dispenser is an essential tool for laboratories requiring reliable powder handling for various applications. It fits deepwell and microplates and works by filling and flipping. It can also be used to measure and dispense plant seeds or any other kind of granular material. And like all of our dispenser products, this one can also be further customized, for example, for 48-well plates or a completely different format.

Options for Customization of the Powder Dispenser for 96 Well or 384 Well Plates :

  • The cylindrical cavity of the measurement unit can be customized to a user-specified volume by adjusting the diameter and height. Please either mention the volume (in mm³ or µl) or the diameter and height of the cavity.
  • Private labelling / Color / OEM possible on request.

How to Operate the Powder Dispenser for Well Plates (Fill-and-Flip Method, See Video):

  1. Fill the 96-well or 384-well powder dispenser plate with the material to be dispensed.
  2. Remove excess material from the dispenser plate. The easiest way is with this special funnel.
  3. Invert well plate and place it on top of the powder dispenser plate. 
  4. Quickly flip - the material drops into the well plate.
